Jessie Farrell’s new single “Let’s Talk About Love”, co-written by Jesse Tucker took it to the top 5 nights in a row on Vancouver’s JR FM.
The response was enormous! People called in every single night to vote for Jessie’s single over the new songs of established country artists including, George Straight, George Canyon, Shane Yellowbird, Doc Walker, and Johnny Reid. Phenomenal.
Next stop: Junofest in Saskatoon.

*youtube clips of French-speaking, Canadian skaters in Japan, have commentaries that are in Russian. It’s so linguistic, I’m giddy.
Good Luck to the Great Jeff Buttle currently sitting in second place. Hooray!

Lisa’s ibook G4* is slowing down.

Why?
2049 itunes
6084 iphotos
50 Garageband projects
14 imovie projects
245 Photoshop projects
These items are currently “in use” and cannot be allocated to external devices. So get your nano outta here. Do you think you can fit all this crap on something that small? Seriously. I know. I know. Get an external hard drive. Well, I did. And as of yesterday, my two 250GB external HDs are jam packed as well. And according to researchers, money doesn’t grow on trees.
Also, I’ve got Adobe up to my ying yang, Studio 8, ATE my speed, and Final Cut CUT into what little RAM I had left.
ineed help.
*Personal plea to Mr. Jobs: Please, please, please release the new Macbook soon*
Love,
Lisa Belovely’s ineeds.
*Who puts rhinestones on their computer?
NB. Uh… they’re not rhinestones, they are Swarovski Crystals. So… Whatever. You’re Clueless anyway.

Normally, “organization skills” is listed in the positive attributes column of Mostly Lisa’s curriculum vitae. I’ve always enjoyed organizing and filing and labeling things and putting similarly grouped items into shoe boxes. Doing such things over the years has given me a “sense of accomplishment” and I believe I am good at it.
People often say to me, “your organization skill-set is certainly one of your more ‘positive’ personality traits.”
“Yes,” I answer. “I guess it is”.
However, the organization “skill-system” I use, is ‘unconventional’. What do those “quotation” ‘marks’ even mean? I don’t know I just like using them a lot.

I organize according to Lisa’s Optimum Visual Outcome Method. “LOVOM” is dictated by the following hierarchical categories:
- Colour,
- Size,
- Shape
- Texture.
For instance, in my closet, a navy blue tank top would be organized as:
- Blue
- (0, 0, 128)
- (240°, 100%, 50%)
Small
Rectangular,
“Thinish”, soft, and “cottony”.In the last two months, LOVOM has hit a rough patch in the organizational paradigm of my household. As a result, “organizational skills” is currently teetering somewhere between the positive and negative column of my make-believe CV.
Organization Status change: *in limboland*.
Results of Organization Status: In limbo:
- our respective closets are “out-of-order”;
- i have no clean clothes that i actually want to wear;
- there are dust bunnies in all corners;
- i’m not sure what is under the couch, but i’m pretty sure what ever is there is doing nothing for the flow of my “Chi”;
- electronic devices are not in their designated spaces;
- i’m positive that there are moldy left-overs in tupperware(s) in the refrigerator;
- and there are piles of dishes in the kitchen;
- and we’re out of tea, sugar, jam, bread, eggs.
You would think that any of these items would make my “Urgent To Do List”. Or that I should immediately make an “Urgent To Do List” and then start attacking these chores asap. You would think that, but “thinking” something does not make you actually “be”. That makes no sense.
You think therefore I am. Wait. I think therefore I am. I can do it. I can do it. Yes I can. No I won’t. I’m not. Am not. No. T.
PS. If you are missing the point of this post due to the highly academic nature of its content read the following papers I co-authored in my intellectual glory days: Phonetic Structure and Acquisition of Laryngeal and Pharyngeal Articulations: Text-Analysis Considerations or Le contrôle articulatoire phonétique dans le prébabillage.
Are you serious? French? Linguistics? Phayrnge…uh… what? Uh… I just came here to get Jessie Farrell lyrics. So… where are they?
“Let’s talk about love
Let’s talk about friendship,
Let’s talk about you and me.”
Coulda figured that your yourself. Couldn’t you?
Yeah, I guess so. *a moment passes* Uh, do you know what Brad’s favourite colour is?
Blue.
How do you know?
He told me when we went to Tom Welling’s birthday party.
