If the iPhone Software has a roadmap, why can’t it find Canada? We’re like the second biggest country in the world.

Canada is big find it steve

Lo-5,

Mostly Lisa

PS. The Green Arrow is Vancouver, where I am. Feel free to send the first Canadian iPhone there. Much Love.

    It’s stupid that the iPhone isn’t out in Canada… It’s been here in the UK since last year… Not that I’d ever own one.

    No 3G
    No Video Camera
    No Java
    No MMS
    Only a 2MP camera
    Built in battery

    Think about it….

    There’s a huge error on your map. Denmark is there, BUT it isn’t mentioned… Now the iPhone will never find us.

    Btw. Dan is right. Unless you aren’t a geek you shouldn’t be interested in the iPhone (difficult sentence I know).

    That’s why real geeks have a Nokia N95 (or soon N96). You can live stream with that one, use Bluetooth, GPS and so forth.

    Dennis, The N95 sucks as well tbh. It’s battery life is terrible and the screen is very flimsy. A friend of mine has the LG Viewty (U990) and although it’s not as slick as the iPhone it’s features are better.

    * 120fps Video
    * 5 MP Camera
    * MMS
    * Java

    Only problem is the lack of Wi-Fi but the next version should have that cracked.

    Here’s what I had to say:

    I agree with you. The N95 isn’t impressive, it has more features than the iPhone though.

    Personally I use a N80IE, I’m considering an upgrade to N96 once it becomes available. Hopefully it won’t be as buggy.

    Ha! I have an N80 as well. :D

    I’m getting rid of it soon though because it takes about a decade to send a text message.

    Oh what a coincidence! I think it’s a great phone, maybe a bit slow from time to time. The only thing that annoys me is the blue led that keeps blinking. Bluetooth activated or not. It’s blinking…

    I’m glad we agree about the iPhone. I’m not saying that I wouldn’t want one, if someone gave it to me, but I doubt I’ll buy one. Not enough features.

    Oh hai Lisa. Do you want us to continue this conversation another place? Yeah? How do you plan on stopping us? With your plastic sword and “horny” helm?! =P

    Sorry to break up the back and forth N80 love fest. You know why I don’t care that the iPhone doesn’t shoot video or have a higher megapixel camera? Because it’s a freaking phone and if I want to take video or a picture I’m doing to go ahead and pull out a video camera or a still camera. Imagine that. The iPhone rocks because of the interface and size. Yes it doesn’t have 3G. Boo hoo. It does have WiFi though which I’m likelier to use anyway. Also it keeps getting updates and new features for free. Crazy I know. Lets see your phone do that.

    Anyway Lisa I think the reason the iPhone isn’t in Canada yet may be due to the fact that according to the map you provided, Greenland is the largest country in the world and Steve has all his engineers trying to figure out how to adapt the iPhone to run on geothermal.

    Three words: Reality Obfuscation Field.

    It is a force that is more powerful than even the Death Star. It is possessed almost exclusively by Canadian wireless carriers.

    The iPhone is a great phone and I have no idea why they haven’t come out to Canada yet. However, if you are in the market for one, my roommate has several phones unlocked if you are interested, brand new. :)

    I’ve been to your neighborhood. I’ve never seen such a beautiful area!! It’s simply amazing. I am in Texas and I’m sorry but it doesn’t compare.

    Well… a true geek will never ever even think about having a commercial phone like the Iphone (or my personal favorite… N98). No they would have something like this http://www.slipperybrick.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/08/cect-wrist-pho ne.jpg

    I think the iPhone has yet to hit Canada because another company owns the trademark for “iPhone” in Canada and they aren’t all that interested in letting apple into their neighborhood.

    I am from Canada and was in Miami a few weeks back. It took every ounce of strength I had not to plop down the visa for an iPhone and just jailbreak it.
