Since being featured on Best Web Gallery last week, I’ve received a whole lotta best CSS gallery l0v3. In appreciation of awarding my blog a spot in their best design galleries, I just wanted to send some link love in their direction.

MostlyLisa.com featured on Best Web Gallery.png

MostlyLisa.com is featured on Best Web Gallery! Sweeeeeeeeeeet! I have been drooling over the uber sites on Best Web Gallery (my all-time favourite design gallery) for almost a year. In fact, I have a Sunday night tradition where I made a nice pot of tea and set out a huge plate of chocolate covered biscuits and peruse all the newly awarded sites on BWG, FWA and the plethora of CSS galleries I follow.

The real props should go to the award-winning designers of this blog: Coding Monkeys.co.uk.

Next week, I will be heading to Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk, England, which is quickly becoming my home away from home, to meet up with Tom, Coding Monkey’s Head honcho. After he schools me on the Xbox, flaunts his new MB Air, and we hit up Tescos to grab some Onken and crisps, I will sit down with Tom and ask him a few questions about his successful web design business. Stay tuned for that interview next week!

I hope you enjoy my new site. Plenty of new videos, photo posts, and general sass coming your way, as well as a few surprises… Mostly Lisa will remain as mysterious as ever… you never know what crazy idea I find lurking in my mind at 3am… oh, now it’s 5am, bummer.

I’d like to thank Keiran of CodingMonkeys.co.uk for designing and redesigning and redesigning this site because I have “control issues” and my bff, Tom for coding through the rubbishness that is wordpress and overwriting plugin madness. I know it hurt your pride a little to have to work on such a buggy platform, but you know I love you for it and will perhaps stop affectionately insulting you so much. That was a lie. I won’t. Forgive me?

Just as I am writing this post, The Coding Monkeys launch their new l33t site. So so so cool. I see an FWA in their future…

Anyway, back to me.

To start of MostlyLisa.com with a bang, tomorrow afternoon, I will post another sweet video of my adventures riding the most deadly and dangerous rollercoaster at Alton Towers and in the entire UK, maybe even the world.

Hope you enjoy ma new blaaaaaag!
PS. if you find any bugs crawlin’ around, please lemme know.

Macbook open on Gavin’s JamFactory for design inspiration. However, I spent most of my time with the Monsters… grrrrr.

What happens when you watch, study, and obsess over Wes Anderson films for three days in a row?
